Previously, Asah Hill was a sprawling peanut plantation. The local people know this place as a gathering place for gods and humans.

The Atuh Seashore is nicer than most of the coastlines in Bali. This is because this place is flanked by two extraordinary high cliffs: Labuan Ampuak on the right and Tanjung Junil on the left.
